Game of Thrones star Kit Harington rose to fame with his role as Jon Snow and has become a household name ever since. Harington has come a long way ever since, playing iconic roles in several anthology series, and recently made headlines with his role in the MCU movie Eternals. Even though his character Dane Whitman aka The Black Knight’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe feels uncertain, we do know Harington is planning his return to the world of Westeros. While he is busy working on his in-development Game of Thrones spinoff ‘Snow’, he enjoys taking little breaks to watch football (soccer in the USA), being a big fan of the sport.
On his most recent outing, the King in the North bumped into the King of Football, Lionel Messi. Harington was in Paris to watch the latest Champions League (UCL) match between Paris Saint-Germain and Benefica on Tuesday. PSG’s new star playmaker Messi was injured in the last match, and had to skip the clash but was present at the Parc des Princes to watch the game alongside his wife Antonela Roccuzzo. The two stars did not miss out on the opportunity to meet each other, and Antonela snapped a pic and posted it on her Instagram story.
Hopefully, Messi will recover quickly from his injury, and Harington’s spinoff will get a green flag from HBO very soon.
